Greetings crew and friends of the USS Boner. LCDR Ben McCormick here. I thought I’d take a moment and help clarify some things with regard to time, dates and a little future history. I put together a short list of significant dates. Obviously this list isn’t a comprehensive timeline of dates but should put into perspective the span of years discussed recently in the podcasts.

Some of my mean, math-challenged crewmates on the Boner can now check out where the 80 year gap is located. It appears to be between the beginning of TNG and the current movie (at the time) Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

Being stationed on the USS Boner for several months now, I noticed that we had no on-board Ship’s Counselor, yet it seems that many of the 480 crew members could really use a good therapy session. There is a lot of drama on this vessel.

I brought up this concern with Capt.  Notpatrick Stewart. “Excellent observation,” he said, “I completely agree with you. Since you seem to be the most qualified, I hereby assign you as part time Ship’s Counselor.” Continue reading →
