Not really an article! More of an observation…
In Dead Dead Dead, you were discussing why Denise Crosby left the show. Lack of character development may have been one, if not the primary reason, but I also remember that she left for a movie gig (Pet Cemetary) that she auditioned for around the same time as the TNG pilot, and she decided to go the movie route instead of TV (which didn’t work out so well).
I believe this also was one of the reasons that Gates McFadden left in season 2 or 3. She went off to do a movie (Patriot Games) in which I thinkn she was in one scene. Fortunately, she wasn’t killed off and we only had to suffer through one season of Pulaski.
Anyway, just wanted to comment. I enjoy the podcasts, keep up the good work.

I guess she was in Pet Cemetary, wasn’t she? I guess they could have taken Yar there to bring her back as a bad guy if they wanted to instead of alternate timelines and illegitimate Romulan daughters…
